One of my least favourite beauty products to buy is mascara. For years, I've spent anywhere between $10-$30 hoping that one day I'd meet my perfect mascara match and my search would be over. I've never found a mascara that makes a difference for my eyelashes. Despite curling my lashes before and after applying mascara, I've always found that my lashes look clumpy, not curled and short and stubby, and no matter what I did, after a few hours, I’d have mascara smudged everywhere under eyes.
Then one day, I was handed Milk Makeup's Kush mascara. The mascara retails for $29(CAD) so I was a little hesitant as that on the higher end of what I'm comfortable spending on a mascara. I already was absolutely in love with everything else I'd tried from the brand, and was a huge fan of everything about them, so I decided to give it a go.
When I first picked this mascara up, I immediately was impressed with how high quality it felt, the component is made of a metal (which I was told comes from the same factory as Lamborghinis). This mascara claims that it's unique heart shaped fibers will give high volume, adding both width and length, as well as curl. It also claims that the formula is clump-free and can be layered. The biggest claim of this mascara is that the CBD infused formula will condition your eyelashes to create healthier, more beautiful eyelashes.
To be honest, it was not love at first sight. Like I mentioned, I was impressed with how the mascara felt in my hand But when I used the mascara for a couple weeks I thought it wasn't doing anything special. One morning, I couldn't find my Kush mascara so I used something else. Something wasn't quite right, my eyelashes weren't long enough, not curled, and just didn't have a lot going on. When I used my Kush mascara again a few day later I realized I loved this mascara. It gives the perfect amount of volume and definition. My lashes stayed curled longer, and I had little to no smudging. After using this for around six months I've also noticed a huge improvement in my eyelashes, they really are more healthy. even when I wear other mascaras I notice my lashes look longer, and stay curled.
I absolutely love this mascara and I'm so happy I've finally found my perfect match.
